PERU: A trans person was assassin in Lima

The victim Braicy Mejía Valdera (27 years) was cruel stabbed by a man who frequented the zone where the trans people practice the sexual commerce.

Mejía Valdera was transferred to the Hospital Cayetano Heredia where she died product of serious wounded. The case is being investigated by the National Police.

This fact demonstrates the permanent situation of violence in which they face the people trans who exert the sexual commerce in Lima. Proof of it is the hundred of violent attacks towards trans people registered by the Runa Institute in the last twelve months.
