It happens everywhere: A Report of discrimination in the European Union
The second part of the report about homophobia and discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity has just been published in the European Union. The first part contained the legal analysis and was on market in June 2008, this second part discusses the social situation, shows a difficult and harsh context, rather than the progress of the legislation. It also includes topics such as health and religion, where the experiences and points of views are diverse. We suggest you to check out this report to refine strategies for the rights of the LGBT community which also involves changes in the symbolic universe and thoughts of the society.

This time we are going to include to our library a document of legal analysis made by Justus Eisfeld. This document had a resume of main European Laws related with transsexuality. This is a vital document for know as clear as possible current legislation and plan our demands.

OEA and Yogyakarta
Yogyakarta Principles on the application of international Human Rights law in relation to sexual orientation and gender identity is the result of a distinguished group of human rights experts that has drafted, developed, discussed and refined these Principles.
