Alejandro Correa (Kelli) was murdered brutally on the evening of Wednesday 25 November while exercising in sex work at Ortega y Gasset Avenue. Kelli was a founder memeber of the group Dominican Republic TRANSSA. As many girls of the group was travestite, during the day studied medicine at the Autonoma University of Saint Domingo (UASD) and at might was sexual worker at Ortega y Gasset Avenue since her Trans condition were few o there´s no labor options which could have acces..
Kelli died because some unknown men in a motorcycle shooted at her. According to witness she was arriving at her work iin a motorcycle where strangers offered her a ball and reaching to Gasset another strangers tried to rob the moto where she was and open the fire wounding her who was carried to the Morgan Hospital by colleagues where she died.
This crime is a reflection of the state of vulnerability to which they are subject in this society Trans people and the rest of the community with a different sexual identity is socially respected, ie Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Trans (LGBT). If you do not suffer discrimination and violations of our rights, it is likely that our partner Kelli had not had this tragic end. Kelli's case is repeated day after day, as well as she had to resort to sex work as means of survival, having their employment options limited by their gender Trans, other girls are in the same situation by exposing their daily lives, without police protection to his person, making them easy targets for criminals who walk giving vent to their thirst for violence without justice do anything to stop them.
Befote Kelli´s death, three trans girls have been victims of strangers gunfire in the same Avenue Ortega y Gasset, and this is very alarming. We ask to the authorities to comply with the supreme duty of administering justice and that the cowards who perpetrated these crimes pay for their sins accordingly.

The trans community in Guatemala receives a new cycle of violence killed three people being transgender in the space of one week. Italy
Brenda, Brazilian transsexual living in Rome, was found charred in his department. Have died from asphyxiation caused by inhaling carbon dioxide as a result of the fire, as reported by the Italian media.
