Editorial
One year of T-Informa
One year ago we published the first Bulletin T-Informa of Trans Secretariat of ILGA, with the idea to create an space of interaction for trans collective, give information of trans global identity and also be a reference for the trans community. In this year we had learnt a lot, had been a personal and collective learning. Looking for give a voice to trans community we had talk about different trans personalities, we had published articles and interviews, also letters and other contributions, we relieve not only contemporary people, also some personalities that are part of the past to remember their contributions to trans visibility and also in the fight for the respect of human rights for trans population.
We have a lot much to say, we understand the huge challenge we have in order to support trans collective in their different places, politic contexts and personal situations. In this assignment we again compromise with our readers to help for make trans population visible and fighting for their plain citizenship.
We thank you all for be part of this project. We ask you again for your contribution with letters, articles, resumes, questions or answers. Trans identity is a process and all of us could be part of it.
In this bulletin you will find a report of Second Trans Pre Conference with new challenges and self critics. And also the sections you already know, an interview with a transsexual Mexican writer, in personalities Bülent Ersoy a Turkish celebrity, a critic of Transamerica, letters from our readers, and a chronology of trans movement in Spain. ILGA's documents: Report of Second Trans Pre Conference. November 3, 2008, Vienna
The Second Trans Pre Conference was a previous meeting before the XXIV ILGA World Conference, it took place in Vienna, Austria, November 3. We count with twenty participants but at the end this number grow up until twenty eight.

Campaign: Violence is
This is a manner to join with the activist around November 25, International Day of No Violence Against Women. We felt very pleased for this poster of Thursday Group and we ask authorities and all governments institutions, as well as human rights organization, to recognize that violence against women has an extension in violence against transvestite and trans women. This is a call for respect and reject violence and death.
Personalities: Bülent Ersoy
Born in 1952 at Turkish. She is a popular singer of Ottoman classical music. Over the years, Ersoy has become a symbol for the increased tolerance to LGBT figures in Turkish media.
History: Trans Chronology in Spain
Continue with the creation of a world chronology we took from a study made by Juan Ramos Cantó (Transsexual Spain Association, Transexualia), to present an approach to the process of trans movement in Spain.
Arts: Transamerica
The movie is interesting because show some situations that trans population had to suffer but it is only present the reality of upper-class and not the hard difficulties that most of this population had to deal with.
