This article is going to explore legal situation of trans people in Spain after approve of “Law of gender identity” and also which is the present situation of trans movement in this country.
Analyses and research about trans legislation: Two new legislations: Mexico and Sweden
Past August Mexico City approved a Law call Trans’ Law because it will allow change of gender identity in born acts. This fact is closely related with transsexual, transgender and transvestite people that nowadays don’t have any legal documentation that recognize their truly identity.

This October 11th, activists trans and intersex from Corunha, Barcelona, Bilbao, Brussels, Donosti, Gasteiz, Lisbon, Madrid, Paris and Zaragoza are going our street to make visible discrimination, violence and vulnerability that suffer in society, although discourse of equality and respect of human rights that is in fashion nowadays. It is an action that celebrates is twelve editions, but this year is focus against pathology of identities that not fit in binarity.

This number is dedicated to Tran’s issues. The first article talk about cases that where win about pension and for no discrimination against Trans people. There is no way we had development a lot in legal field, but there is still a lot to do. For example, it is necessary to make clear the concept of gender reassign in order to include most of the Trans identities.

Her life had been written for herself in two books I am my own woman: The true story of Charlotte von Mahlsdorf and Beat it!, written in co-operation with Peter Süß. Her life also had inspired some movies, plays and literary books, as the one of american author Dough Wright.

Roses of steel, is a documental of Felipe Degregori, it explore transvestite’s life in the city of Lima. Between their testimonies, this documental give us information about conditions in which transvestite people live.

ITS: We are very happy to know you recognize your real identity and also that you decided make some scientific investigation about diversity. About unions between transsexual people, that is a legit right and should be guarantee in all the legislations around the world.
ILGA's docueBeyond the edge: a LGBT global perspective.
Austin Convention Center, Texas, celebrated from September 10 to 13 the Annual Conference of Out & Equal. The panel “Beyond the edge: a LGBT global perspective” show a vision of LGBT human rights situation in the voices of exponents of different regions of ILGA.
