About us

The Trans people and groups(travestis, transgender, transsexuals and intersexual), members, along with LGB (Lesbian, gays, bisexuals) identities that are federated in ILGA, form at this moment the Trans Secretariat, which approaches the variety of situations that reflect the themes of this sector about sex-generic diversity. But this space is open for ALL people and Trans organizations who would like to take part of the discussion and decide the course of this page and possibly to integrate themselves to a world-wide federation materialized in ILGA.

According to the agreement of the pre-conference during the World-wide Conference of ILGA in Geneva 2006, this site is made to tie all the Trans people and organizations around the world, through its 6 regions: North America; Latin America and the Caribbean; Africa; Europe; Asia; New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific islands (ANZAPI). It is a really interesting challenge and we hope that we all take an active a part in it.
